UPDATE: A reader e-mailed me that this article is from March and due to the demand of the show IS actually 40+ episodes! OPPS I was wrong. That is some serious dedication! This person also stated that the new season will start in November. Will it have that many new episodes as well? I guess we gotta wait and see...

Actually, Season 3 is still ongoing, with Season 4 expected to begin in November. That article is old. When it was written, they didn't expect the demand for J&K to be as great as it was, but evetually they ended up continuing to shoot and create episodes. When Season 4 begins, it's expected to have 40-50 episodes, to meet the same demands. Plus, Jon & Kate no longer have former employment, and they've cancelled many of their speaking engagements, so they want to keep the show going. On another note, where did you get the recipe for Kate's Tomato & Onion Salad? Did it come directly from her or did you just find a recipe for one?
Wow, thank you so much for the info, I'm going to update my post. I was really confused myself. Man that is ALOT of Episodes! Now regarding the recipe, this was posted on MySpace by who I believed to be Kate from their official page. I have no idea if it was actually her as due to overwhelming comments and responses the page was closed. The recipe is correct though so who knows!
The reason why I was curious is because I had emailed her in February for recipes (her tomato & onion salad, sticky buns, stuffed shells, meatloaf- a lot to ask, I know). She wrote back saying she wasn't releasing any of her "famous" recipes from the show, because once the hoorah dies down from her up and coming book release, she is going to be coming out with a recipe and family organization book. I can only guess that she wants people to go buy the book to get the recipes.
Also (I forgot to add this), she said it was a Tomato, Onion & PARSLEY Salad on the show, and that recipe doesn't have parsley in it. And the Sticky Bun recipe- she either used refrigerated dough or she made her own, I can't remember which. So I don't think that one's right either. There's so many people parading around on the internet pretending to be them, so I doubt that one actually was. I know they had a MySpace account at one point, but their public relations firm suggested that they only communicate through their website.
Yes, floating over the internet are several variations of Kates recipes. When I stated mine are correct I need to clarify that I meant that they work meaning "tastes good to me." The idea for the post was that there was one place for all the popular ones that people inquire about.
laura blair says I read an article in people magazine that there was a rumour that jon was leaving kate ,what a crazy world we live in !!people will say anything to start trouble get a life man !!!
