Pottery Barn Valentines, GWOP Fabricates As Usual, Trolls Run To The Articles

Hello Gosselin fans! I am still praying that my photos are recovered. We are working on how to use this card reader thingy and how to attach it to the computer. Can you recover pics from a memory card? If this works you will know, cause you will hear me scream and you will laugh cause you know its me.

So last year everyone was asking where they could get those adorable chairback mailboxes from the Valentines episode. They were so cute and although they do them every Christmas, it was the mailboxes everyone was after. Well it turns out they do different ones every year and this year.....uhh owls. What a disappointment. I haven't seen them let on Ebay, but keep a look out. If not, you can order these from Pottery Barn Kids HERE. Check out their shout-out to Mady! Her name looks so cute on it.

GWOP Weekly Re-caps Gets Them 2 Million Hits?

The secret is 1. They lie 2. Block any fans from commenting, 3. Some readers blog hourly, 4. Only do weekly recaps now and random postings, 5. Kidnap readers and make them drink a speical potion that turns them into trolls and the only way they can be cured is to convert more haters to the undergroud lair. Ok I know, I'm the jealous one now but lets just read comments from one episode re-cap:

"Thanks GWOP for keeping this blog REAL"- Real as in, not allowing a single fan to publish there?

"And am I wrong or did Kate really call Alexis "a disturber"? You could not be that cold. You could not." -How is calling Alexis a disturber COLD?

"I would be willing to bet that all the kids were given a question to ask ahead of time when their turn came up."- Are you kidding me? You think the children read a script??

''I also noticed Kate using purified water for the soup. What the ???"- People please, if you live where I do, you NEED to.

"Was anyone else surprised at how quickly Kate got a new stove, just because of ONE BURNER?"- Poor Aunty K.K. got reamed on that one. Several post went on to say that this was a very dangerous stove when the glass breaks and immediately needs to be replaced. She apologized for sounding stupid..What could she do? Find something else to snark about...

"I make my own soup too, and you need much more than 2quarts of water to fill a stock pot. And she had two on the stove. gmab". GIVE ME A BREAK that you are reaching THIS hard for something to gripe about!

Also I bet the new "it's a wonderful life" promos where they are all running down the grassy lawn and swinging on the swing set, is at the new kon-pound."- That swingset is at Cocoa Castle Park in Hershey.

Did anyone else notice the guy standing behind Kate while she was talking with the stove delivery guy? I paused it several times and he looked like he was putting something into the pots she had behind her where she "supposedly" cutting veggies."-First off, why are you pausing things several times? Are you crazy? That was Jon by the way and he was holding a toothbrush!

The Trolls Have Now Gotten Jobs Screening Google

Why is it that the comments sections of some articles that are linked here and other places are far more interesting to read than the actual articles? Well for one, who needs places like Cafe Mom & IMDB when you have a place to fight or debate your views on the show. (And for the record, those blogs have gotten really boring as of late. I mean have you been on any with GOOD topics?) I was shocked to easily see the same people going from article to article and probably stupidly leaving the same name to show who they are. What are they trying to prove? Do they think they could get more GWOP followers that way? While I stick to my rule of not linking hate blogs/articles, I will say that alot are out there and they are just downright funny.

Since were on the topic of my favorite my Jon & Kate Episode, revisit last Valentines Day and hope the family does one this year just as cute!

Criticizing someone for using filtered water??? And "accusing" her of using 2 quarts of water? (When there is no way to tell how much she used because you can REFILL Brita pitchers till kingdom come!!!) So, what is it, are they accusing her of faking that she was making soup? What the f***?

And in what way do these criticisms "protect" the children since this is what trolls say their only mission is?

I think it was Jennifer Aniston's character on Friends that once said "the mind wobbles." And that's what my mind is doing.

I absolutely agree with you there. I have a purified water pitcher. I had to when I lived in KY. The water actually came out brown. (It's gross just thinking about it.) I don't understand how people would think she is a premadonna. Oh that's right...anything about Kate makes them mad. I agree with you about the comments.

Love the blog...and I pray you will be able to recover all of the pic.'s you lost.

On the "a disturber" I understand that. Kate really was only describing what Alexis does. However, maybe if Alexis didn't have to take a nap, she may be able to sleep longer at night. Not all children need as much sleep as other children in the same family. Maybe during nap time for the other ones this could be a good one on one time for Lexi and her parents. Then she maybe able to sleep through out the night and not wake up so early to disturb her sisters. But, if it gets her her own room for being one I say "Yay!". She will most likely enjoy that in the long run. A bit more privacy.

On the water thing -- I too use a purifier. It is actually the one that is attached to the faucet. I like that one better that way you don't have to keep filling up a pitcher if you need more than 2 quarts of water. It just goes right into the container I am going to be using.

And how do I get a job as a comment controller? I need a second job and could do that on my spare time. As long as it pays good. LOL!!

I just told my husband the other day to use the Brita when he makes our hot chocolate. That it would taste better. And probably be healthier.

I hope things are going better for you. I enjoy your blog and your perspective. Keep up the good work.

OMG!!! $19.00 for an Owl made out of different fabric?!?!?!?! I could spend that much at JoAnn on 5 different types of material and make 20 of those things. Hey that is a thought make those things and sell them for half the price they are at Pottery Barn. LOL! I really like owls and that is just odd looking.

If you are still having trouble with photos erased from your memory card, there is software called WinUndelete that you can download and purchase. Just stick the memory card into your computer and follow the prompts. It works wonderfully for me!

Hope this helps. Thanks again for a great blog!

Is Pottery Barn part of the Gap, Banana Republic family? Just curious because they had the Valentines Day bags and the kids bedding from there. Not that it matters but I am secretly jealous of all the cool free stuff they get. Ok, so it isn't exactly free since the company is getting a TON of publicity...but you know what I mean!!

Do people really have nothing to do but snark about how much and what kind of water Kate used to make soup???? I am sorry but that is just absurd!

I use a Brita Pitcher. My hubby and I travel all over the US for our job. We spen most of our time living in our RV. We are in California right now and you can bet I am drinking purified water. Not that they have bad water, its just that I do not know anything about it. But, at home I use purified water also, even though my house is only 3 years old.
Its a persons own choice. But of course the "Gossipers wishing of Popularity" AKA GWOP, have to make an issue of everything. They really are running out of things to b***h about.

I am with you Carol, all the griping about Kate, the water, her stove, and yadda yadda yadda, is not helping their made up cause. If they truly cared about the children, as they say they do, they would boycott the show all together. But, faithfully everyweek, they watch. Hmmm!!! Pretty fishy.

Shelly, I had to LOL about your Calif. water comment.. hee hee :). I live in Cali, and where I live its actually Ok to drink from the tap, but I dont like to, it gives me the creeps, I would recomment to keep drinking that purified water...:)

GWoP actually posted a comment I made. It was maybe after 200 other comments had posted and I think they needed someone new to pick on. I was called a sheeple , Mae, and I was told that all J&K do is exploit their children and that they are tedious and annoying. I know I shouldn't but I get a kick out of raising their hackles.
What really got me though was NICU and her comments about Hannah being the favorite child and that is why she is taller and heavier than the rest. Other bloggers are really buying into this and they call us the sheeples.

I'm, sorry Cali-Mom. That really was rude of me. I know you said it was ok and got a chuckle from it, but I really feel bad.

I hope you have a nice evening. :)

On the side topic of recovering photos: I accidentally erased my memory card and recovered the photos with a free downloadable software program designed for this purpose. I wrote about it here:

I found the Valentine bags on Ebay. They are $25 which is ridiculous, but here is the link.

Shelly, I've written in other comments that during the 3 days I lasted over at Cafe Mom I actually asked them why they watch the show and was told that they were fact finding so when Dateline and Oprah (who must be SICK TO DEATH of hearing from these nitwits) call them they would have facts to give them. I respectfully pointed out that Dateline and Oprah can easily get a hold of tapes of the show as they are in the television industry (so they could stop watching such a "distasteful show") and the response was that they "wouldn't know what to look for." Yep, the mind "wobbles!"

Suppose the water at Kate's house is pristine, WHY ON EARTH does she not have the right to use a Brita? What is it to the "gossipers wishing of popularity?" :) What does this have to do with ANYTHING, let alone the well being of the children???

Good freakin' Lord, we all choose our causes. I decided to throw away all of my children's M&M Mars candy this halloween because they buy Chinese milk powder. If I was Kate Gosselin imagine the comments that action would have elicited! There she is, looking out for her family's health, which she is constantly accused of _not_ doing. Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. We all have our neuroses and we have, in my opinion, inalienable rights to them!!!

If we drink the water out of our Brita filters, then why wouldn't we also use the water from them in cooking?

I swear that people just need something to complain about. Water in soup though...stretching!

Another article on Kate. This is why I like her and think she's doing her best. She only answers to those who she should be answering.

Thanks for the article, Theresa, I really enjoyed reading it.

"It shows how Jon is the peacemaker, the helper, the follower. And it shows how I'm the organized thinker who gets out-of-control in charge at times."

Hmm, this doesn't sound like the "b***h" she is constantly painted as, but I'm sure the trolls would find a way to take this honest statement and twist it around in their horrid and nasty manner.

Well said Carol. It is so nice to come on this site and talk to people who see the good.
P.S. I LOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE your avatar. :)

Keep up the good work BABY MAMA.

To the "Gossipers wishing for popularity". Find something else to harp on. Your day in the spotlight is done. It a far streatch to B***C about water. HEHE.

Theresa, I totally agree with you!

People have really tried to paint Kate in an ugly light. However, I do believe that she is just like most of us...trying to do the best she can.

I like how in the article she says that they only need to answer to(can't remember the word she used) their family and God! How true is that!

I wish that some interviewer would focus more on the great qualities that Kate has and less on her strong personality. I think she gets beat up far to often and it would a nice change to have someone comment on her strengths!

Also, does anyone else think that if it were Jon that had the take charge, strong personality that he would just be viewed as a great man taking care of his family? Whereas, Kate gets called names and trashed because that is how she is? Double standards!

Absolutely, Bee. I thought this the other day but didn't bother writing it. Hillary Clinton receives the exact same treatment. My BIL LOATHES Hillary and I'm positive he would admire her if she were a man! In the facebook group someone commented about Jon not having "balls" and this comment came from a WOMAN!!! Sadly, some women don't even realize when they're demeaning themselves!

Thanks Shelly, my avatar is "Mafalda," a very popular comic strip character from Argentina who was huge when I was growing up in the 70's.

You betcha Bee! The whole world would think he was great. I wrote on a blog(RetroBlog) several months ago about on the "How did we get here" show, Jon even says, when he met Kate, he had no direction and did not know what he was going to do from one day to the next. In fact he had just returned from oversees hiking trip. He obviously knew that Kate was strong minded, organized, and in control. People don't just get that personality over night. Opposites attract and Jon & Kate compliment each other perfectly.
