First Haircut Cutting Room Floor

Wow I really loved the episodes tonight. The backyard camp out gave me personal info to remember such as weatherproofing tents and double checking the weather. But the Cutting Room Floor footage was my favorite. Was any of you shocked to see Jon's aunt and uncle in the footage at the beach last year? It truly goes to show us how little we see, and just because you don't see someone, doesn't mean they are not in the families lives! Also, I loved the footage of La Nouba in Walt Disney World. I have been to Disney many times, but never had gotten a chance to see that show. It was really nice of Beth to watch the kids so they could go! I am now putting that on my Florida to-do list. As I was watching this great episode of never before seen footage a few things came to mind. One, that I wish they showed more of Nana Janet and Nana Joan (did she move?) and two, their first haircuts. It was so super cute to see them again as babies, especially Joel. I remembered Sweet Tinkerbell had the footage...

Thanks for commenting on my blog!
ABSOLUTELY you can use my words!
I, too, am concerned about all the haters and think it is sad that people have to scrutinize something they have never lived.

Please email me @ michellebrownlow@yahoo.com when you use my post...I'd love to see it!

Thanks!

Amen!! My thoughts exactly! Just because we don't SEE someone on the actual show does NOT mean they are not in the family's lives!! And if I had a family member even remotely as unstable and angry as Julie seems in her blog (I know Julie is not really a family member, but I'm associating her with Jodi since she's allegedly her sisterr), I wouldn't want them around my kids either. I try to shield my kids from toxic people and situations as often as possible. But I love that you point out that just because someone isn't seen on the show, doesn't meant they aren't around when the cameras aren't. Plus the fact that alot of footage - as we saw last night - end up on the cutting room floor!!! I'll bet alot of people are in that cut footage - and not seeing them causes the hate bloggers to form assumptions about them being banned and "cruelly" kept from the kids. We all know what happens when we assume, don't we?? I learned that in 3rd grade!!! LOL Keep up the awesome blog!!

I really enjoyed the camping episode. I will probably do it with my kids as well.

I also thought that the militant GWoPpers wouldn't have much to comment about. I agree with you. I think it is sad that people are looking for something negative to say.

FYI, I am new to your site. I like how you put in videos of the kids. Makes me smile.
