Quite possibly fans of the show who never donated before to this hospital will be moved to do so.
I am not a Kate fan, but I liked this show. I mean, it was bringing attention to the plight of KIDS with CANCER, for pete's sake!Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15006099582027100854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3167527169360062878.post-24307959265402260442008-12-18T14:03:00.000-08:002008-12-18T14:03:00.000-08:00Did they really criticize them for going to St. Ju...Did they really criticize them for going to St. Jude's and not finding a "local" charity? GOOD LORD. It's not like St. Jude's is in Outer Mongolia, for crying out loud! AND WHAT IF IT WERE??? Even Mother Teresa left India to help people in other countries; I don't recall anyone criticizing her for not staying local! Her missions now operate in 123 countries! When I think I know just how tiny the minds and hearts of GWOP'ers are they surprise me yet again.Carol Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07858670046269831613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3167527169360062878.post-46595557402261455962008-12-17T19:18:00.000-08:002008-12-17T19:18:00.000-08:00Thanks for expressing what I was thinking! My 4 yr old recognized the name from the St Jude Commercials she sees on Nick Jr.
Who cares how they are donating, they are doing it and taking their time to do so. I give to other charities, but my family and I will be specifically giving to St. Jude this Christmas.Dinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06388489826788147320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3167527169360062878.post-90012530735700720472008-12-17T07:28:00.000-08:002008-12-17T07:28:00.000-08:00Fabulous episode. The children are so much wiser than their tender ages. The little 4 year old girl reminded me of a little old lady. She was so smart and beautiful. What great spirits all them have. I donated when the garage sale episode aired and I have always gave to St. Judes(because I have a child with Reigers Syndrome). This year I am going to donate a little extra in the Gosselin kids honor. I love the way Kate just kind of put it back into peoples faces about their charity work. Also, I got a tickle when Ms Beverly appeared. It just proves that Kate does not use them up and throw them away. They have lives of their own. Funny how all this made up crap is coming back around to bite the trollies in the butt.

I can't wait for the season. At least there are reruns for now. Kudos to Jon and Kate and their "gaggle" on the work that they've done for the sake of the kids at St. Judemamahollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14765108445976743261noreply@blogger.com
